Mothering Sunday

Here’s a film that’s, you know, all right. I can’t urge you to see it, although if you do, it’ll be just fine. There’s nice stiff upper lip work from Colin Firth and Olivia Colman as the parents of a posh family devastated by war.

Meanwhile on this unusually sunny day in 1924, horny heir Paul (Josh O’Connor ) is having his way with the chambermaid Jane (Odessa Young) when he’s supposed to be getting engaged to a posh neighbour he’s known all his life.
