The Versatiles – Long long time

Mangrove by Steve McQueen kicked off the London Film Festival and might just be the best, most apposite opening film this century. What wonderful performances from Shaun Parkes, Laetitia Wright, Malachi Kirby and what a cracking film it is – about history, justice, racism, humanity –  and how brilliant that London was bouncing to its soundtrack of Toots and Marley and others, including this gem from The Versatiles.
